'Derwent Boat Sales Huon Island Hustle'
The Port Cygnet Regatta was established over 132 years ago as a celebration and contest of all sorts of marine activities including swimming, rowing, dinghy sailing and cruisers. It has been run almost every year and has been a drawcard to sailing enthusiasts from all around the Channel, from Hobart and from further afield.
The final event of the Port Cygnet Sailing Club Regatta will be the inaugural 2025 Derwent Boat Sales Huon Island Hustle, sponsored jointly by Derwent Boat Sale, Peter Johnston Ship Chandlers and IBT. This race offers a short sharp drag race for boats heading home after the weekend's festivities. In order for this race to occur, our program will be modified so that on Sunday an early dinner would be presented at around 1730 followed at 1830 with the Prize giving and Results. After which a band and entertainment until late (ish). Please remember to pre-book your meals.
